Keynote: The Human Cockpit – building an organisation where AI is a trusted partner

It’s no longer a question of ‘if AI will reshape our work’, but how can we embed it in ways that strengthen trust, improve customer outcomes, accelerate innovation and preserve the human judgement that matters most.

In this keynote, Dr. Juliette Tobias-Webb will offer cutting-edge insights from behavioural science and AI to help insurance leaders build customer-centred organisations where AI becomes a trusted partner to create better decisions, stronger relationships and a sustainable competitive advantage.

She will introduce her Human Cockpit framework and behavioural design model, showing leaders how to build trust, strengthen AI governance, accelerate adoption, and turn AI ambition into meaningful customer and business outcomes.

Dr. Juliette will answer questions such as:

  • How do we keep humans at the heart of changes as AI reshapes how we work, decide and create?
  • How do leaders build the governance, trust and culture needed to apply AI responsibly and sustainably?
  • How do we actually translate AI ambition into practical, value-creating use cases across a business while managing the human-side of change?

The Industry Panel

With AI here, and the regulators keenly watching how it’s used, insurers shouldn’t feel alone in navigating this environment. For the first time at Duck Talk, we bringing together representatives from stakeholder across the insurance ecosystem, including insurtech, AI, the Insurance Council of Australia and consultancies to look to answer:

  • What’s driving and shaping intelligent and AI-capable insurtech innovation, how are insurers engaging with it, and what’s around the corner?
  • How they're empowering insurers to harness insurtech and AI to help deliver the best policyholder and business outcomes possible?
  • How they are creating an environment that encourages this to occur in a responsible and sustainable way?
