Ty Aiken is the Vice President and head of Technology for Personal Insurance at The Hartford. He is responsible for leading technology strategy, vision and execution for the Personal Insurance business. Aiken who joined the company in 2008 as an IT business analyst, has progressed his career at The Hartford and has held technology leadership positions in the Corporate Functions, Small Business Insurance, and has been the Head of Technology in Personal Insurance since October 2023.
Aiken has more than 20 years of technology experience at the intersection of business, operations and technology. Aiken’s expertise includes digital transformations, large scale agile product delivery, and cyber.
Prior to joining The Hartford, Aiken, spent 4 years at Citigroup, as a IT business analyst and quality assurance lead.
Aiken holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Connecticut in Sociology and Psychology.
In 2022, Aiken was honored with The Hartford’s prestigious Chairman’s Award for Leadership.
