Oliver Werneyer is the co-founder of Imburse Payments and Vice President of Product Strategy at Duck Creek. Before founding Imburse in 2018, Oliver held various roles in renowned insurance companies, including Liberty Life, Swiss Re, and Genworth. An entrepreneur at heart, Oliver previously founded Flynrate, an innovative flight tracking and flight delay insurance app, before starting Imburse, a cloud-based middleware that connects Insurers with the global payments ecosystem. Imburse was acquired by Duck Creek in January 2023. Oliver's passion for entrepreneurship and innovation led him to be a member of the EY Young Leaders in Insurance Forum, a program for rising Swiss innovators. Oliver is also a panel member at House of Genius, sharing his industry knowledge to help start-ups strengthen their business cases. In 2016, Oliver ranked 15 on the Top 50 Global InsurTech Influencer Rankings.
