Travis Swank is joining our OCP build with team from the MSUS Insurance Vertical where he was a Data & AI SSP for Strategic Accounts for the past 3 years. An 11-year veteran of Microsoft, Travis started his career at Microsoft in Modern Workplace working with Office and what was a new product back then called SharePoint. Then he spent 5 years in the Incubation team recruiting partners and building Office Communicator Server (OCS) into a $1B/year business called Skype.
During a 4-year departure from Microsoft, Travis helped customers redefine their business models working with big data analytic tools from Cloudera the industry leading Hadoop start-up. Since his return to Microsoft 3-years ago, he has focused on helping Strategic insurance customers like Progressive, Nationwide, Northwestern Mutual and State Farm find business value in the Azure portfolio of tools.
Travis has built a successful career in leading-edge technologies from VoIP, to Big Data, to Machine Learning & AI. He is customer focused and believes in finding the solution that can drive radical change in the business – not just incremental improvements.
